To determine your standard size measurements all you need is to complete is Step #1, "The Circumference of the Head" using the custom measuring guide below.. You can then compare them to the average sizes listed. Not everyone will meet these measurements - some may be under or over and that is perfectly normal. If you choose a any wig cap other than FULL LACE CAP WITH NO STRETCH the wig will fit you perfectly.
Use a soft measure tape to measure steps 1-6 below, you can use the typical tape measure used for clothing. We take measurements in whole and half inches, so please round your measurements up not down. Example: 12 3/4 should be rounded up to 13 and 12 1/4 should be rounded up to 12 1/2.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that your measurements are ACCURATE. Take your measurements at least 2-3 times to be sure.
|Step 1. The Circumference of the Head: Measure all around the head. Position tape measure so its edge follows the hair line around the head and nape of the neck. (Average measurement is 22.5" inches).|
|Step 2. From Forehead to Nape of Neck: Measure from hairline at center of forehead straight back over crown to center of hairline at nape of neck. (Average measurement is 14 inches).|
|Step 3. Ear to Ear across Front Hairline: At front of ear, measure from hairline at base of sideburn, up across the hair line along forehead to same point in front of other ear. (Average measurement is 12.5 inches).|
|Step 4. From Ear to Ear over the Top of Head: Measure from hairline directly above the ear across top of head to the hairline directly above the other ear. (Average measurement is 13" inches ).|
|Step 5. Point to Point: From temple to temple across the back of head. (Average measurement is 15.5 inches).|
|Step 6. Nape of Neck: Measure the width of hairline across the nape of the neck. (Average measurement is 5.5 inches).|
